What is a 'Window Opening'?

When you look at a wall, a window is placed in a hole or OPENING in that wall. This OPEN space is known as the WINDOW OPENING.

  

What is inside mounting(inside mount or reveal-fit)?

When a shutter is installed inside the reveal we call it an inside mount/reveal fit shutter.
In this diagram a shutter is fitted inside the reveal as indicated by the red line.

                            

What is 'Outside mounting' (outside mount or face-fit)?

When a shutter is installed outside of the window opening on the wall area itself.
This type of Shutter installation is called outside mount or face fitted.

Once you approve our Quotation and place your order a one-off MANDATORY Check-Measure appointment(at no additional charge provided you proceed with your order) is arranged at a convenient time to suite your busy lifestyle. 

Our certified ShutterRight™ installer attends your site to re-check your measurements and before finalising your order for production at the Factory.

What if I am worried about selecting my Shutter Colour Online (vs. in a Bricks and Mortar Retail store or Showroom)?

Choosing colours in a showroom is no less restrictive than choosing colours online. Showrooms present light and tone restrictions which could result in differences to the final colours as delivered. So too, choosing colours online is restrictive based on your monitor resolution, contrast and brightness. You are therefor no more disadvantaged in any way by making your colour selections through our online process. However to be on the safe side (and just like Bricks and Mortar Showrooms) we offer Colour samples for your piece of mind. And what is better still, we deliver them to you directly and so that you can view them in YOUR home and the natural environment in which you wish them to be.
